Robert Lee “Bob” McGrew, 75, formerly of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Avant. He was born on February 1, 1935 in Webb City, Oklahoma to Calvin Monroe and Gladys Mae (Chambers) McGrew. Mr. McGrew was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristin Dawn Page; sisters, Fern, Leona, and Velma; brothers, Ike and Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Proctor; sons, Terry McGrew and his wife, Katherine, and Patrick McGrew and his wife, Vicki all of Broken Arrow; brothers, Leon McGrew and his wife, Carolyn of Tulsa, and Charles McGrew and his wife, Goldie of Cleveland; sister, Betty Maloney of Okmulgee; grandchildren, Mitchell, Garrett, Tyler, Johnna, and Kaleb; great granddaughter, Hadley Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Add’Vantage Funeral Service and the funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 400 N. Aspen, Broken Arrow. Pastor John Wilke, Sr. Minister of Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Minister, Charles McGrew will read the Eulogy. Interment will be at Floral Haven Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell McGrew, Garrett McGrew, Jeremiah Smith, Tyler McGrew, Eddie McGrew, and John Barton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles McGrew and Nathan McGrew. Arrangements were entrusted to Gary Kelley’s Add’Vantage Funeral and Cremation Service, Tulsa, OK.
